Gallery Road and FAQs

The idea for Gallery Road came about in 2020. I’d just finished the final renovations on our once, slightly dilapidated, house that we bought in 2005. So with a whole additional floor, multiple bedrooms with freshly painted walls, a single space living/dining/kitchen area and new entry (to haphazardly collect school bags, discarded shoes and the like), I was keen to get some Art on the walls.

Sadly, my budget (there wasn’t one), didn’t match the keenness. I also found it difficult to search out and find pieces for the various rooms. These were the ‘primordial’ conditions that gave rise to Gallery Road. A place where there would be a variety of works, using a variety of mediums, with a variety of accessible price points.

Printing: All works are printed in Australia using on Ilford art paper using archival pigment ink. For each piece the paper and ink used has been specifically selected to maximise the works style and colouring. Every piece is set, printed and checked individually.  

Framing: All frames are solid wood and are crafted in Australia. The three finishes are wood (natural), white or black. Every piece is set with a mat board. All frames come ready to hang, so once unpacked, the piece can be immediately hung.

Delivery Times: Every product is made to order, produced for you. We aim to complete production within a week. Delivery times can then vary. We would always hope for you to have your piece within 10 working days of ordering. Prior to ordering, if you have a date, you need to make (birthday / anniversary gift), and are unsure it can be made, please contact me david@galleryroad.com.au and I will clarify times and, if necessary, do my best to expedite production and delivery for an important date.
